Two oils can share a scent name while being intended for completely different uses. A body oil belongs in a body-care routine when used as directed; a diffuser oil belongs in the compatible home-fragrance system specified for it.
Do not choose by fragrance name alone
Read the product type and instructions, not just the scent name. Never assume that a room-fragrance product is suitable for skin. Conversely, a body oil is not automatically suitable for a diffuser.
Check the device requirements
Different devices can require different liquids. Before buying, identify your exact diffuser model and read the manufacturer's instructions. Ask the seller whether the oil is compatible with that system. Do not assume every product described as diffuser oil works in every device.
Keep the products organised
Store home-fragrance and body-care products separately and retain their labels. Follow product and device safety instructions, including placement and storage guidance. If compatibility is unclear, pause before filling the device. The useful question is not only whether you like the scent, but whether the product is designed for the way you intend to use it.
