Your signature scent should suit your actual life, not just a memorable first spray. Start by describing what you already enjoy: crisp and clean, soft and floral, warm and sweet, or dry and woody. You do not need perfume vocabulary to make a useful shortlist.

Start with your surroundings

Picture a normal week. Do you spend most of it in an air-conditioned office, outdoors, or moving between both? A fragrance you love on a quiet evening might feel too present in a crowded meeting. Decide whether you want one flexible fragrance or a daytime scent with a separate evening option.

Compare contrasts, not near-identical choices

Sample one fresh fragrance, one softer floral or musk, and one warmer woody or sweet option. Wear them on separate days. Record whether you enjoy the opening, the scent after lunch, and the final impression. A beautiful opening is not enough if you dislike the later stages.

Know when to stop searching

Your favourite does not have to win a popularity contest. Choose the one you genuinely want to wear again, at a size you can use comfortably. It is also fine for your preference to change. A signature scent is a personal choice, not a lifelong contract.

Explore your next scent

Browse Bloom & Belle's fragrance collection and check the selected size, concentration and format before ordering. Decants are supplied in smaller atomisers, not the original retail bottle.
