The scent story
Promise explores the depth associated with oud through an imaginative use of cypriol. Apple, pink pepper and rosemary give the opening a fresh, aromatic character, before Turkish and Bulgarian roses unfold with a touch of clove. The flowers add richness within a darker woody setting.
Patchouli, labdanum and cypriol form the foundation, supported by ambroxan. Dominique Ropion’s composition celebrates the strength of human bonds, using the contrast between bright fruit, generous rose and deep wood to create a powerful, distinctive fragrance.
