The scent story
La Colle Noire draws its inspiration from the roses in the gardens of Christian Dior’s château. The flower is presented with a full, slightly wild character, surrounded by spice and woods. Patchouli adds a deeper background that gives the rose more weight and a distinctly earthy texture.
The composition captures a garden rose with character rather than a simple delicate bouquet. It is a direction for someone drawn to rich florals with a woody foundation, where spice and patchouli bring depth beneath the generous impression of the petals.
