The scent story
Gris Charnel Extrait deepens the original’s interplay of tea, fig and creamy woods. Cardamom gives the opening an aromatic brightness, before iris, cistus and vetiver introduce a richer, more textured heart. The familiar softness remains, now framed by darker woody detail.
Patchouli and cedar add depth to sandalwood and tonka bean, while vanilla brings a rounded, gently smoky warmth. This interpretation has a more opulent character, appealing to those who enjoy the original’s intimate mood with a fuller emphasis on woods and ambery sweetness.
