The scent story
Crystal Saffron Extrait gives the bright saffron signature a richer setting. Greek saffron remains the central material, with its vivid, spicy character brought into sharper focus. For this version, Aurélien Guichard introduces myrrh from Somalia as an additional defining ingredient.
The myrrh adds an ambery, textured warmth that rounds out the saffron’s radiance. This creates a deeper interpretation of the original, balancing crystalline brightness with a smoother resinous presence. It is a compelling option for those drawn to saffron with extra warmth and substance.
