A unisex label invites anyone to wear a fragrance. It does not describe one specific smell, and it does not mean the fragrance must sit halfway between stereotypically masculine and feminine styles.
Begin with preferences
Do you enjoy green freshness, creamy sweetness, dry woods or bright florals? Those answers narrow a shortlist more meaningfully than a gender label. A fragrance marketed toward someone else may still suit your taste perfectly.
Separate style from performance
Unisex does not mean subtle, strong, modern or long-lasting. Concentration and note lists do not provide a complete performance rating either. Choose the level of presence you want for your setting, then test the actual fragrance.
Share thoughtfully
A shared fragrance can be enjoyable for a couple, but neither person has to like it equally. Test it separately before committing to a larger size. You may agree on the opening and disagree on the dry-down. Use the label as permission to explore, not a requirement to compromise on a scent you do not genuinely enjoy.
