The scent story
Guidance draws you into an unusual meeting of fruit, flowers and incense. Pear brings a soft juiciness to the opening, while hazelnut adds a rounded texture beside frankincense. Rose, jasmine sambac and osmanthus then fill out the heart, with saffron adding a warm thread of spice.
The flowers settle over sandalwood, vanilla and ambergris, supported by cistus and Akigalawood. Amouage builds the fragrance around the relationship between rose, frankincense and ambergris: floral warmth with a resinous edge, softened by a creamy, enveloping base.
