The scent story
Purpose imagines the feeling of being grounded and at ease. Bergamot and pink pepper bring brightness to frankincense, with pimento berry adding another layer of spice. The heart moves towards dry, textured woods: sand vetiver, sandalwood and papyrus, softened by a trace of rose.
Saffron and suede add warmth and a tactile softness to the finish, while Mystikal and Akigalawood extend its resinous, woody character. The result is a fragrance built around mineral woods and spice, with an earthy direction that reflects Amouage’s theme of finding your roots.
